Snake River wolf pack attacks livestock once again

Northeastern Oregon - Oregon wildlife managers say the Snake River wolf pack is responsible for a third livestock attack in northeastern Oregon since early October.

The livestock owner found an adult cow with numerous bite wounds on both hind legs.

Officials say the injuries are consistent with a wolf attack. GPS collar data show that the wolves of the Snake River pack were in the area where the cow was being pastured during the time of the attack.

Wildlife managers say two calves were previously confirmed attacked by Snake River wolves in October and November.
