Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe was a victim of online hacks, after his X account was taken over by an intruder. The hacker shared multiple controversial posts on ‘X’, one of them even naming Cristiano Ronaldo as a ‘GOAT’ while labeling Lionel Messi as a ‘midget’.
An unnamed intruder took control of the 25-year-old Frenchman’s X account, which has more than 14 million followers. The incident took place in the early hours on August 29th, when a hacker, posing as the player, started posting numerous messages, alarming his followers and the media alike. The posts were however removed from Kylian Mbappe‘s account, as soon as the ‘hack’ was reversed and the account was restored back to its original owner.
Several messages and posts were shared after the account was hacked, leaving fans amused. One of those controversially labeled Mbappe’s idol and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as the ‘greatest footballer of all time’, while calling his arch rival Lionel Messi as a ‘minnow’. This was shared alongside pictures of Messi in tears that sought to provoke fans and defame the French star. Another post falsely claimed Mbappe in support for Palestine, while controversially calling out Israel.

The identity of the hacker, however, in the ex-PSG star’s case, remains unknown and authorities are in the search for it.
Kylian Mbappe’s hacked X account speculates move to Manchester United
As Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe’s X account was hacked, there were messages falsely speculating the forward will be signing for Manchester United in the future. The player, who recently signed for Real Madrid, however, is yet to respond to the hack.
The hacker shared a number of tweets related to Manchester United, where he first shared a popular slogan, ‘Manchester is Red’ in support of the Red Devils. Another tweet falsely claimed that the forward would be joining United in 2028, on a free transfer, something that amused fans. The hacker also tagged a number of prominent football pages, after the above messages.
