Simon “Ghost” Riley’s face in Modern Warfare 2 has always been a compelling issue among Call of Duty fans. Ever since the series was introduced in the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009), players have always wondered what the face behind the operator’s skull mask was.

Ghost Finally Reveals His Face in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Players who pre-ordered the game have been granted early access to Modern Warfare 2 from October 20, and the full game is set to be released for everyone else on October 28. The second last mission of the story mode, titled ‘Ghost Team’, results in Ghost finally showing his face in front of Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros.
However, players are unable to see Ghost’s face as the camera angle is pointed towards the back of his head, much to the disappointment of the fans. After a very stunned silence from the team, Captain Price faces back to his old friend Ghost and says, “Simon, nice to see you again.” If you watch the above YouTube video from the 2nd minute, you will be able to see the scene where this happens.
When the camera points is back on Ghost’s face, it catches him just as he is wearing the Ghost Team Balaclava. Aside from other Ghost Team mission scenes, this is the only instance in the game where the Legendary Operator can be seen without his iconic skull mask.

The Modern Warfare 2 (2022) campaign has attracted many fans has already been hailed as one of the best campaigns in the series. Featuring stunning graphics and exciting missions with great game play, the latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise is an absolute blast to play.
